E-1 (Professor) Electronic Visa (e-Visa) Information

for Newly Appointed Foreign Faculty at Woosong University

1. E-1 (Professor) Visa Eligibility

2. Electronic Visa (e-Visa) Application Procedure

Woosong University applies for the E-1 (Professor) visa through the electronic visa issuance system of the Korean Immigration Service.

1) Submission of Required Documents

The appointed faculty member submits the required personal documents to Woosong University.

2) Electronic Visa Application

Woosong University applies for the E-1 (Professor) electronic visa to the Korean Immigration Office.

3) Approval of Electronic Visa

Once the application is approved, an Electronic Visa Approval Notice is issued.

4) Entry into Korea (No Embassy Visit Required)

With the approved electronic visa, the applicant may enter Korea directly without visiting a Korean Embassy or ConsulateThe electronic visa approval will be verified by immigration officers upon arrival.

5) Alien Registration after Arrival

Within 90 days of entry, the applicant must apply for an Alien Registration Card (ARC) at the local Immigration Office.
