(National Health Insurance Service – NHIS)

In accordance with the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS) and relevant regulations, eligible employees are required to complete a mandatory health examination.

Faculty members who are eligible for the national health examination are advised to complete the examination within the designated period. Please review the information below carefully.

1. Designated Medical Institutions

You may undergo the health examination at any NHIS-designated medical institution.

1. Visit the NHIS Health IN website: http://hi.nhis.or.kr

2. Select 건강IN (Health IN) → 검진기관 찾기 (Find Medical Institutions)

※ You are not required to use the hospital listed above. You may choose any other nearby hospital or clinic designated by the NHIS for health examinations.

2. Examination Period

Eligible faculty members must complete the mandatory health examination within the designated examination period for the applicable year.

In general, eligible individuals should complete their examination by the end of the applicable calendar year, unless otherwise specified by the NHIS or the University.

Please refer to the University's annual notice or the NHIS website for the applicable examination schedule.

3. Examination Costs

General Health Examination and Follow-up Confirmation Tests

• Fully covered by the NHIS

• No personal cost for eligible examinations

Cancer Screening

• 90% covered by NHIS

• 10% personal contribution

Exceptions – No Personal Contribution Required

• Colorectal cancer screening

• Cervical cancer screening

• Individuals included in designated national cancer screening target groups

4. Important Reminder

Eligible employees are required to complete their mandatory health examination in accordance with applicable occupational safety and health regulations.

Failure to complete a required health examination within the designated period may result in administrative consequences, including fines, where applicable.
